A blue marlin in open water, drawn using only blue colored pencils on Legion Stonehenge over about 60 hours.
Every part of it is built from shades of one color: the fish, the water around it and the light coming through the surface. That’s how deep water looks, and it’s how I wanted the marlin to feel.
Every print is made at the drawing’s full size, 18 × 30 inches.
