The story
Ayrton Senna in his helmet, drawn in graphite on Legion Stonehenge paper over about 40 hours.
The helmet carries this drawing: the shine on the shell, the sponsor lettering, the edge where the visor meets his face. I left everything around him as bare paper so nothing competes with it.
In 2024 this drawing was one of eight finalists in McLaren’s Senna fan-art contest, picked from thousands of entries. It was the only finalist drawn by hand.
The original now belongs to a lifelong Senna fan. Every print is made at the drawing’s full size, 18 × 24 inches.
How big is it?
18″ × 24″ on a wall
Drawn to scale above a standard 84-inch sofa. Every print ships at the size of the original drawing.
